Faith Over Fear has so much to offer and we are constantly going back to the drawing board to think of ways that we can be a blessing to those in our communities. We delight in serving those who are considered at-risk and misplaced. Let's work together to
see how we can be of assistance to our community!
We are a 501(c) non-profit organization.

Making a difference . . .
Serving Hot Meals to Homeless Locations in the South King County Area
We have three scheduled feeding events per week. Our mobile food service truck is equipped to serve meals directly to the areas where homeless people gather. We also encourage referrals to local services and prayer support to our clients. We currently serve 150 hot meals per week.
After-School Meals for Students
We serve High and Middle Schools in Renton and Des Moines weekly during the school year. We also connect with the local youth to form personal relationships and host after-school events.
Senior and Affordable Housing Sites
We serve residents at their homes allowing them to gather over a hot meal. Residents in these settings often feel isolated by health and mental challenges. These gatherings foster a sense of community and inclusion with their neighbors.
Faith Over Fear now has Certified Peer Counselors
Mentoring at-risk students
We provide free mentoring services to all youth who seek guidance and support. We also provide organized youth groups and educational opportunities.
Mentoring Men in Addiction Recovery
We volunteer at the Union Gospel Mission Riverton Recovery Program. We walk with men in recovery every week during their one-year program and often after graduation.
Working with Local Non-profits to provide Peer Counseling Services where needed
FFHHI is currently providing mentoring services along with other non-profit groups in the Sand Point area.
Free Community Garden Plots
Partnering with Midway Covenant Church in Des Moines, we offer our neighbors a place to share their gardening methods and traditions for all to learn. Residents receive a plot to tend as their own. We have provided sheltered seating areas to host neighborhood cookouts and BBQs. We also have obtained a grant from King County to help us build a rainwater
catchment and an irrigation system for water self-sustainability.
Support Local Community Events and Festivals
We serve free meals and show support to public and non-profit organizations. We network with community groups to provide additional care, support, and resources for our clients. We are also Certified Peer Counselors.
New Freedom Street Church
Brings the Gospel to the Streets. Street Church accompanies our food service truck wherever it travels. We distribute bibles, prayers, encouragement, and love to all we serve. We also go out onto the streets to support Local Church Outreach Groups with their homeless outreach
activities.
